DMS is a medium-sized family business with a focus on building, factory and process automation. We advise, plan, deliver, build, install, commission, maintain, in short: we do everything to ensure that our customers enjoy the automation of their buildings.

The company was founded in 1981 as Technisches Büro Werner Hössl in Gerlingen. In 1997, the company was converted from a limited liability company into a stock corporation. In this context, the management board passed on to the next generation. In the business year 2020, about 60 engineers, technicians and computer scientists achieved a turnover of around EUR 25 million.
The future of the construction industry is digital. Since its foundation, DMS has been a digital company. We have carried the “digital” in our name for 40 years. We recognise a multitude of chances and opportunities in digitalisation. At present, we are actively exploring IoT, BIM, Cloud Services, Predictive Control strategies and AI.
We have completed the transition from traditional buildings to automated buildings with many customers and now want to create truly smart buildings based on predictive services and AI. Buildings that can detect changes in use and optimise themselves on this basis, thereby creating genuine added value for owners, users and operators.
We see technology as a means to make buildings better and also to achieve efficiency and sustainability goals that are desirable from a socio-political perspective – that's what we're working for!

We efficiently provide the services for our customers in excellent quality. When advising our customers, we focus on the best solution for them. Together with our partners, we have around 200 DDC/BMS specialists at our disposal for the various project components. We are proficient in the entire range of building automation services and can also provide solutions for complex problems from a single source.
